John Dils Obituary

John Michael DILS Born June 28, 1975, died in the early morning of June 8, 2006 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. (John lived in the Renton area since 1978 and worked as a cement mason. He was an accomplished and avid skate boarder and was well known in the skateboard community.) (John is survived by his parents, Katherine M. Okrasa and William P. Dils; his sister, Kassandra L. Mitchell; his two brothers, James G. Johnston and William Curtis Bigelow; grand parents, Dixie Lee Johnston and Curtis C. Dils.) Services 6/16/2006 @ 2:00 p.m., St Matthew's Lutheran Church, 1700 Edmonds Avenue Northeast, Renton, WA 980560.

Thanks for the laughs, you always ended a sentence with a wiley smile. I admired the path you took to enjoy life, you were always down to go along for the ride, and always one to offer a friendly greeting. I think of you everytime I am in my garden amongst your mother's rose bushes. I'll be seeing you.

Dils was a very good person and a very dear friend in all the years i knew him. I always knew him to treat all those around him with kindness and respect. What i love and will miss about him the most is his always smiling and his way of making sure that the people around him were always lauging and getting as much joy out of life as he did. I couldn't believe it when my husband told me he was gone. Dills will be remembered by both of us always. The OUTRAGEOUS times I had would not have been the same without him around. I really wish I could be there for the funeral and see all the faces that are still dear to me. My heart goes out to you all. Im so sorry. He was one in a million! Ill never forget him... I dont think I could.

I remember this time when Sarah and me went to some band party out in the woods and we where makeing a trip back to the truck to get some more refreshments and we where talking about how we wished Dills was there parting with us. Now I know every one know's what happened next, out of the bushes comes Dills with his back pack and skateboard and says I am. Dills always told that story when we got together and I know Sarah and I will never forget that night. I will miss Dills very much and I will always miss the idea that he wanted to teach my Daughter how to skateboard but I am very grateful that he was able to hold Trinity once before he left all of us.
