Mrs. Marion (Mathews) PREYER With her beloved husband of 32 years, J.C., and their daughters Monique, Lisa, and Jamese, along with family and friends by her side, Marion passed away and went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2008. After a lifetime of ministering to thousands, raising a family, and being a blessing to all, she has gone to where there is no pain, and can simply sing, sing, sing. Marion was the 4th of 12 children. She was born and raised in Seattle, and graduated from Lutheran Bible Institute. She was a wife, mother - to many, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all, and will be truly missed. A memorial service for Marion will be held December 5 at Boulevard Park Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. Donations in her name can be made to the Lupus Foundation of America. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Marion. She was a dear friend of my mom's (Kathy [Thornton] Bentall), and although I don't have many personal memories of her, I know she was a wonderful woman. Your family is in my prayers.

Dearest J.C.~
May you feel the arms of our family wrapped tightly around you during this time. We all love you so dearly. Marion was a joy and delight in our lives and we will miss her greatly. She was part of our "family" just as you and the girls are. I just know that my dad and Marion are having a joyous reunion! I'm certain the Mansions God has prepared for them (and us) are right behind each other only the fence, if there is one, doesn't require any upkeep! The world is a better place for the life Marion lived and all she gave to so many. The angels are rejoicing and I'm certain her beautiful and amazing voice can be heard all throughout Heaven!
Along with me, Mom and Laura and Frank hold you, Monique, Lisa and Jamese in our hearts and prayers.

Monique,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know your mother very well, and I only met her twice, but I'm sure she was a wonderful woman; look at her daughter! She's in heaven now, with her Lord. Again, my condolances, and if there's anything I can do, don't hesitate to ask.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

Mom was such a caring, understanding but stern lovable woman. She had this spirit about her....she was our guardian angel!! She always watched out for us and now she is watching over us. You could tell her anything and she would never judge but give advice from her heart. My last memory of her was when I visited her during the 07' summer when I lived in Sea-Tac when my house was getting built. It was just her and I and we talked about everything. It was the one true time that it was just us and it was so memorable. I miss her so much but I know that she is finally home! I love the Preyer Family so much!!! I will be there for each and every one of you during this time. I love you - Sara & Chad Dumlao
