Thomas Hall Obituary
Thomas F. HALL Tom passed away peacefully on August 25, 2009. He is survived by his loving daughter Carolyn R. Hall, son-in-law John Brockhaus, and grandchildren Hilary and Ben Brockhaus-Hall. His beloved wife, Eileen Hall, and two sons David and Danny preceded him in death. Tom was born in Silver City, NM on April 25, 1925, moved to Seattle in 1927 and attended Ballard HS. He attended Whitman College where he played football, and graduated from Seattle University. He was a radioman in the Navy during WWI and later developed a passion for teaching and taught physics for many years at Queen Anne HS. He was an amazing storyteller. He loved reading, snorkeling in Puget Sound, radios, telescopes, his family and his many students. He was loved by all for his kindness, generosity and sense of humor. He will be missed. A private memorial will be held at Golden Gardens where Tom loved to snorkel.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I was a student of Mr. Hall and have such fond memories of him. He was an exceptional teacher and great person. My condolences to the family.

Wow, very sorry to hear Thom Hall passed away. We had so much fun with him. We used to call him coach. One day a substitute came to class and we asked, "where's coach?" Answer: What does he coach? Us:Physics!!! I still remember snorkeling at Golden Gardens with him. Obviously it was freezing but we warmed up with some fish and chips. Thom Hall was a very thoughtful teacher and friend who taught physics and life.He started my interest in physics and my father later supplemented it. May he Rest in Peace.
