Virgil M. "Pat" Moon
Ionia
formerly of Sheridan
Age 95, passed on Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Ionia. She was born in Chesaning, MI on August 20, 1920 the daughter of Ervin and Mary (Harris) Trumble, Sr. And moved to Elsie as a young lady and eventually moving to Palo and the Ionia area where she has been ever since. Pat was married to Orville Oyler in 1939 and he preceded her death in 1976. In 1978 she married Walter Pitchford and he preceded her death in 1993. In 1997 she married Wilbur H. Moon, Jr. And he preceded her in death in 1999. Pat was a member of Shiloh Community Church since 1970, a lifetime member of the Sheridan V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and was employed by Mitchell-Bentley and General Tire for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon (Roy) Powell; sons Gordon and Rodney Oyler; parents; grandchildren Jamie Oyler, John Oyler and Linda Hendershot; siblings Nevalor (Orsle) Alexander, Hope (Charles) Ring, Floyd (Arlene) Trumble and Edson (Viola) Trumble. Surviving are her daughter, Connie (James) Washburn of Prague, OK; son, Larry (Carol) Oyler of Sheridan; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings Irene Carpenter of Fenwick, Ivahldel Lake of Greenville and Ervin (Ellen) Trumble, Sr. of Muir; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Kenneth Harger at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth St., Orleans. Interment will be in Woodard Lake Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Community Church.
