Bridget A. Boyle January 15, 1929 - March 20, 2021
Bridget A. Boyle passed away peacefully in her home in San Francisco on March 20, 2021. She was born on January 15, 1929, to Mary and Patrick McTeague of Killeybegs, County Donegal, Ireland. Preceeded in death by her sister Maretta Breslin and son Terence Boyle.
Loving wife of 66 years to Gerard Boyle. Mother to Charlie Boyle (Kathleen), Rory Boyle (Karin), Mary Ann Folan (Martin),and Noreen Heavey (Michael). Grandmother to 15, great-grandmother to 4.
Bridget was a long standing member of St. Gabriel Parish who attended mass everyday through the years. She came to San Francisco in 1950, where she setelled in the mission district, along with many other Irish of the time. She met her husband at the KRB and was married June 19, 1954, They moved to the sunset where they had been for the past 60 years.
Bridget lived life to the fullest and loved her Irish culture. She traveled with her husband on many trips to Ireland and across the United States. She spent her time in her garden surrounded by her animals. She devoted herself to her family, many friends and neighbors. She will be missed by all.
Services will at held at St Gabriel Church, 2559 40th Avenue, San Francisco, CA. 94116 on Friday March 26, 2021 at 7:00 p.m and the Funeral Mass Saturday March 27, 2021 at 11:00 am. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery immediately after.
