Eugene Giovannini Obituary

Eugene "Muni Gene" E. Giovannini A native of San Francisco, Eugene passed away on January 12, 2011 at age 88. He was the devoted son of the late Elena and Emilio Giovannini, Beloved father of Eugene A. Giovannini, Tony Giovannini, Eileen Giovannini- Liebert, Lisa Giovannini, Mitchell Giovannini and Frank Giovannini Johnstone. Proud grandfather of Elizabeth Julson, Susan Bradley, Jennifer Hines, Alsa Giovanni, Kim Giovannini, Denise Giovannini and Cecilia Giovannini. Adored great grandfather of Jared Julson, Jacob Julson, Jessey Julson, Michael Bakren, Savannah O'Kelley abd Shannon O'Kelly. Eugene was a WWII Army Vet who retired from Muni after 30 of service. He will be remembered as a great father and grandfather aswell as a lover of life. He will be greatly missed. Friends may visit after Friday 9:00AM and are invited to attend the Celebration of his Life also on Friday at 11:00AM all at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co., 4840 Mission St., SF. Internment to follow at the Italian Cemetery. Donations in his memory preferred to the SPCA 2500 16th St. SF, CA 94103. Online condolences may be offered at visit www.vmpandco.com.
