Gail Wheelock Angelo 12/20/1914 - 01/08/2011 She was born in Fresno, CA and grew up in Oakland and Piedmont. Gail graduated from Piedmont H.S. and U.C. Berkeley, where she wrote for the Daily Cal and belonged to Alpha Chi Omega sorority. A world traveler, she is survived by two sons, Robb and Glenn, daughter-in-law Emma and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA.

When we moved into the neighborhood, Gail and Heath Angelo were warm and welcoming neighbors. They joined us in our family celebrations and holiday celebrations. We admired Gail and Heath's love of life, adventurous travel, and hospitality. They were the best of neighbors. Gail was always so kind to our children and so thoughtful. We will miss her as we do Heath, and our sympathy is with the family. Pat and Al Musante and Family
