Memory Eternal! George, my dear friend and koumbaro, surely there is a place in heaven for you where there is no pain, no sorrow, no suffering...You have been an inspiration to my entire family with your unconditional love to my mother (also godmother and namesake for your daughter Kristalea), my father, my brother and my three children. I'm grateful that my son Elias was able to be at your funeral today. Your example of putting the Lord first reminded me of my father who passed away nearly 10 years ago. We have alot to learn from your self-sacrifice and giving spirit. You definitely put words into action! Your work ethic was unparalled. I have often stated that if other government workers were like you, we would need far fewer and there would be no waste in government. We had our lighter & fun moments too, with the car salesman on one occasion when you helped me purchase the 'Olds Delta 88' and with the numerous packages of hot sauce you ate unaccompanied without any difficulty! Rest peacefully my good friend--everyone's good friend....

George hired me 20 yrs. ago at BLM. He was a caring and loving man. I know some of his family. For the family and friends my hope is the nice memories and fun times you had with George and knowing that people care, help to ease your sorrow.

Although we did not know George for very long, we will remember his passion and the love he showed his daughter Kristalea and his grandchildren Andre, Athena and Preston. He lives on through them and we are grateful for that.
