George Ybanez Obituary

George R. Ybanez August 18, 1930 - January 3, 2007 George is survived by his wife Rosa and children, Raul and Marcellina; his step-children Ana and Marco Rivas; his adult children Rosemary Miller, Georgina Rackley, Yvette Escobar, George Ybanez, and Yvonne Ybanez; 15 grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his granddaughter Denise Garza in 2001, daughter of Rosemary Miller. George was born in El Salvador and migrated to the US in 1945. He worked for the S.F. Chronicle for 30 years and retired to the state of Florida. His hobby was fixing T.V.'s which earned him the nickname "TV George." Though retired he had his own business as a locksmith in West Palm Beach, FL. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service on Thursday January 18, visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Higgins Chapel, 1310 A St., Antioch, CA, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. "Dad, we'll miss you and love you a lot."
