My deepest condolences to you on the death of Gloria. We were classmates at Star of the Sea High School so many years ago. I remember her as quiet spoken and very sweet. She will be truly missed.

Gloria was a fabulous person and HR professional. She was quietly wise, helpful, and insightful, and overall a tremendous support to the people she worked with. As a VP, I didn't make a personnel move without consulting Gloria, so she was a terrific counselor and decision partner. She was also a good friend, and kept in touch with several of us long after we all stopped working together. We will miss her tremendously!

I was saddened to see Gloria in the SF Chronicle's Life Tributes this morning. She was a good friend. We had many fun times together in our 20s. Gloria and I met at SF Arts & Crafts ceramics class, and became friends quickly. We went on many adventures together. I remember seeing the film "Tootsie" in SF's Presidio Theatre on Chestnut Street with Gloria. Attached is a picture from a Lake Tahoe ski trip with the Japanese American Nisei Ski Club. The other picture is from a party for my parents when they visited SF from Japan. I will miss her so much. She always had a nice smile.
