Jim Ruma Obituary
He was born in Boston in 1933 and later moved to San Francisco in 1947 where he attended Balboa High School. Jim served his country proudly as a Marine during the Korean Conflict. He settled in Daly City in the mid 1960's and along with his wife Connie raised 4 children. He went on to have a long and illustrious 46 year career with the Government as a Supervisor of Shipbuilding where he received numerous Outstanding Performance Awards, Merit Achievement Awards and Letters of Commendation.
At his request a private service will be held May 13th at Duggan's Serra Mortuary.

Hi Connie:
Jim was a very good friend whom I worked with for many many years. I remember the time that you and Jim came to Santa Rosa for a visit, permitting Wanda and I to meet you. I know you and Jim had a wonderful marriage and long life together.
May our Heavenly Father bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Hello Connie and family, Lorry and i would like to express our sincere sympathy to you,family and all. Over the many years Jim and I worked together we attended a number of functions and gatherings that Jim was instrumental in organizing (Annual January Crab Feed)to name one, or was the self appointed Greeter and many others, and was an all around good man. Jim always made you feel comfortable and welcome in his company. From a working relationship, Jim was the go to guy if you had a problem and he would do his utmost to help you through it or solve it. It was my honor and pleasure to have known Jim and to have the opportunity to learn and work alongside him. Lorry and i will miss him deeply.
