John was such an amazing person. We had so many deep conversations about art, life, flowers and most of all family. Although Debbie is the one that worked with me at Ross, the whole Zanoni family soon welcomed me into the fold and my life was never the same. In all reality, there are no words to describe this wonderful man who made such an impression on me. John, you were such a kind man I'll always love you!

John was like a bonus grandpa to me. I used to play in the beautiful back garden of the home he shared with Tina and admire his many paintings, some of which hang in my childhood home. He was such a gentle soul who will be dearly missed <3

"Uncle" John was a wonderful second Dad to me and Grandpa to my girls. His love of the natural world and artistic expression whether in watercolors or floral design gave joy to him and so many others. I will miss his humor and our talks about art and Hampton Ave. memories.
Much love, Ev Bowen

So sorry for the great loss. He was such a kind, gentle soul, he had an eye for the beauty of flower arranging and art. I remember we would go to the American Legion in San Francisco, when they would showcase the art and Flower show. I always look forward to that every year. Alex, and I were also blessed to receive one of his beautiful watercolors.
With the deepest sympathy, Candice and Alex Ako

My sincere condolences. John was such a lovely fellow; I was his neurologist for years, until I retired. He was such a talented artist, and he kindly gifted me several watercolors over the years. One has a prominent place on my home office wall; it is very special to me. I wish you all sweet memories; I have mine.
