August 13, 1931 – April 18, 2006
Dear Karl, today would have been your 87th birthday. Rather than mourn the absence of your flame, I am rejoicing and celebrating how brightly it glowed and touched so many hearts; especially mine.I miss your beautiful mischievous blue eyes, and I thank you for teaching me to live life to the fullest each day and to take care of others and always be true to one's self. You have left your footprint and beautiful memories in my heart where I visit them every day.
You are loved and missed every day. "Froggie", Happy Birthday!

To all of Karl's loved ones I am sorry for your loss. Although I have never knowingly met Karl I can't help notice his memorial appearing every year. Since my days of delivering newspapers I have always made a great effort to read the obits. Hopefully you will all attain a high place in heaven for remembering him.
