My friend who taught me about loyalty, respect, kindness,
honesty and humor. Kay is remarkable by her actions, truly
committed. I was always so comfortable around Kay. She played her new piano piece for me. I was moved through her music.
it talked, and I learned to listen. I love Kay, in this tangled
world, she was a true friend.
I love you Kay.

Kay made a huge difference in my life. I met her when I was a graduate student at Cal and she taught me how to present my work to other scientists and how to prepare for presentations. Without her influence, my career would have been different and less successful. In addition to her great proficiency and talent, she was a nice person. Smart and nice don't always go together but she had it all. I am so happy to have known her.
