Linda McDaniel Obituary

Linda McDaniel
September 9, 1949 - January 22, 2024
Linda Anne (Fitzgerald) McDaniel was born on September 29, 1949 in San Francisco, Calif. She passed away after a short illness on January 22, 2023 in San Diego, Calif.
Linda attended Holy Angels elementary school. She graduated from Mercy High School in Burlingame in 1967, where she received one of the highest entry scores in the school's history.
Linda enjoyed working in the electrical contracting industry, and rose to a vice presidency. Linda's happiest years were spent with her husband of almost 20 years, William Pheley, who predeceased her in 1998. Linda was a doting aunt to her nephews and niece. Linda loved all kinds of music, from Broadway show tunes to her favorite, Motown. Linda was a voracious reader, enthusiastic football fan, and intensely interested in current events.
Linda is survived by her sisters, Diane Gentry (Robert), Melanie Avery; numerous cousins; as well as her beloved nephews and niece. Her co-workers and friends will remember her dedication, enthusiasm and sense of humor.
There will be a graveside memorial service at Serbian Cemetery, 1801 Hillside Blvd., Colma, Calif., on January 31, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. The public is invited.
