Linda Ann Paulin (Dugan) passed away May 15, 2013 after a long fight with cancer. She was the wife and dear love of Michael J. Dugan for almost seven years and dear friend for 20 years; a 20 year resident of Walnut Creek CA and a Las Vegas resident for the last 4 years. She was a devoted Mom to Leah Handy Krauss (Eric) of San Diego, Jenna Fiduccia Hoyt (Dave) and CSM Scott Dugan (Jeni) of Ft. Bragg NC; BFFF to Alicia Anderson of Chico CA; sister to Cathy Downy (Leo) of Las Vegas and Edward Paulin (Kim) of Weymouth MA; Nana to Devin and Jacob Krauss, Annabel Hoyt; Grandmama to Pat Dugan, James and SGT John Hobbs (Mallory); auntie to Amanda, Ben, Nicole, Daniel and Trevor and Daniel; YOM to Seth (Jerene), Morgan and Benjamin Anderson; sis-in-law to Leigh Price and Carli Tippett. Wells Fargo Bank (commercial real estate) was her business life for over 27 years where she made many longtime friends. She will live joyfully in the hearts of family and friends who will miss her love, warm hugs, open generosity and the deserved "bite me". Memorial services will be held in the San Francisco Bay area in the near future. In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to Good Shepard, a shelter for women and children, 1600 Portola Avenue, Livermore CA 94551 which she generously supported for over a decade.

According to my Wells Fargo Outlook Calendar I have a standing weekly meeting with Linda. Every Thursday, since 2005, at 2pm PT, a fifteen minute meeting reminder for Update WAM Stuff pops up on my Calendar. Im baffled at how this meeting continues to remain on my Outlook calendar. Despite a myriad of software upgrades, and through numerous PCs and Laptop migrations, this one reoccurring meeting with Linda has remained steadfast on my calendar. Refusing to vanish into the technology ether. When opened, the meeting reads; I'd like to catch up on some stuff and then solidify logistics around the June certification PAPER process, training, development and then data input process for July. In other words, how do we meet the timeframes in the Steve memo. -Linda. With this weekly prompt, and countless other of lifes cues, Im reminded of Lindas friendship and my gratitude for having had the pleasure of knowing and working with her. She continues to teach me something new and her memory adds clarity to my purpose and a smile to my face. I look forward to our next meeting.

Our dearest YOM, YOMIL, and YON, we know you are soaring with the angels, healthy and at peace, but our hearts ache for you. We think about you everyday and miss you terribly. You will always live on in our hearts and while you scope out heaven for the rest of us, we will remember how truly blessed we all were to have loved you and been loved by you. Until we see you again, soar, our dearest angel.

Hello Linda,
It's been over 20 years since I sat in your office in El Segundo and embarked on my life with WFB. I thank you for giving me that opportunity and being my mentor and friend over the past 20 years. Thank you for the many fond memories; your quick wit, the girl scout cookie van, the broom, your hand ‘signals' during conference calls, your appreciation of achievements, your generosity, and your ability to find meaning in everything. Thank you for creating and sustaining it all. Your laugh will be missed, your smile will be missed and your friendship will be missed. Happy trails as you have now embarked on a greater journey. May God bless your family, and may your presence live forever in their hearts and that someday with love and grace you will all gather together again in a beautiful place.
Lucky me for having known you.

So sorry to hear about the untimely passing of Linda, She fought a long and hard battle to the end. Few can even comprehend I am sure. But as you rest a little while until you are woken up by Jesus to a healthy life we shall wait patiently for that hug from you as the God who can not lie has promised.

The lights are dimmer without Linda in our world. She was a force to be reckoned with and I will miss her and our friendship that we cultivated through correspondence and in person fun. We have an angel who is watching over us. Love you bless you Linda.
