Dear Pam, Simi and David,
I was so saddened to learn of your tremendous loss. I know you are trying to understand why Major was taken away from you on the Earth at such a young age. But sometimes things just can't be explained. I know Major will be in a good place. Please find the strength to get through the difficult time you are going through.
David and Simi your father was so proud of you. He always enjoyed talking about each of you.
Major was a wonderful person and I am glad to have called him a friend. We knew each other since we were freshmen in high school and reconnected later in life. I then learned the many sacrifices that Major went though to achieve his goal of becoming optometrist. This then led to his very successful career. I was very impressed by his accomplishments.
In recent years we always had a fun time watching a Warrior basketball game together. I know I will miss this as well as his thoughts about any subject we discussed.
I'll miss you Major.
