Franklin Rhoade Obituary

Franklin C. Rhoade JONESTOWN Franklin C. Rhoade, 72, Jonestown, died Tuesday May 23, 2006 in his residence. He was the husband of Pauline M. Brandt Rhoade. He was born in Lebanon on August 26, 1933 son of the late Walter H. and Beatrice M. Clouser Rhoade. He was an US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Outside Plant Manager for Verizon, retired Maintenance Supervisors for the Lebanon Correctional Facility and was employed by Reilly Wolfson Sheffy Schrum Lundberg Attorneys. He attended Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church and was a member of the Jonestown American Legion and Mt. Olivet Lodge #704 F&AM, Lebanon. He was a 1952 Lebanon High School graduate. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters: Susan R wife of Robert Walborn, Lebanon; Pamela R wife of Douglas L. Blauch, Jonestown; grandchildren: Emily wife of SSgt. Norman Fulk, USAF; Casey L. Walborn, Michelle wife of Andrew Stokrp; Matthew Blauch; Angela Blauch; Valerie Blauch; brother Ronald F. Rhoade, Palmyra; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother Robert Rhoade. Funeral service Friday at 1:30 PM from Rohland Funeral Home, Inc., 5th & Cumberland St. Lebanon where a viewing will be held Friday beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation of Central PA, 1201 Saradana Rd., Harrisburg 17112.
