Maria Brinkley Thompson

October 7, 1946 - May 31, 2017

Passed away in her sleep on May 31, 2017 at the age of 70. Born in Palestine, TX to the late Clarinda Pat Brinkley she joined older sister Aleta.
Maria graduated from Memorial High School in Houston, TX in 1965 and went on to attend the University of Houston. Maria married Tim Thompson in 1979 and they welcomed their daughter Leslie in 1981. Leslie was the light of her mother's life and her proudest achievement.
Maria is preceded in death by her grandmother, Nellie Caskey Mason; mother and sister. She is survived by her daughter Leslie; Leslie's father Tim; niece Zena Felgar; and many other close friends and family who loved her.
