Mary Pruett Gibson passed away peacefully a year ago on December 13, 2021. She was a proud San Franciscan who in her early twenties greeted dignitaries who came to visit our City by the Bay. Mary dedicated her life to her family, her friends and the city she loved. She attended Burke's School for Girls (Class of 1946) and was a member of the Junior League. She worked for many years at the Junior League Next to New Shop on Fillmore Street where she received more than her share of parking tickets. Mary's kind nature, generosity and wicked sense of humor is greatly missed and lives on in the hearts of those who knew her well. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Katharine Gibson and her son Peter Gibson. She is survived by her son John Gibson, daughter-in-law Kelly Gibson and grandsons Henry and Milo Gibson.
