Mary Kronman Obituary

Mary J. Kronman Passed away peacefully on the evening of September 17, 2007 in Mission Viejo, CA with her family and friends at her side. Her death was a result of congestive heart failure and other complications. She is survived by her sons Richard and Robert; daughter-in-law, Maureen; grandson, Bennett and nieces, Judy, Susan, and Minka. A native of Southern California, Mary was a graduate of Occidental College and a school teacher in rural Central California. She met her husband Richard, a marine serving his country during World War II in San Diego, CA. They went on to raise children in Arcadia, CA, and later in Laguna Beach and Dana Point where she was active with the Assistant League. Much of her time in the winter was spent in Palm Desert, CA, actively golfing with her many Canadian friends and hiking in the beautiful Coachella Valley with local Palm Desert friends. A memorial church service will be held Thursday, October 11th, 2pm at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 428 Park Ave., Laguna Beach, CA, followed by a reception in Monarch Bay. On Saturday, October 13th, 2pm, a "Celebration for Mary" will take place in Malibu, CA. For more info go to www.rememberingmjk.com or call (310) 497-2116.
