Matthew will always have a very special place in my heart. As one of his elementary school teachers, I loved him as one of my own. He was kind, funny, smart, and such a joy to be around. My sympathy goes out to Matthews family as they deal with this tragedy.

I knew Matthew when he was a 5th grader at Paramount Elementary School. He was a wonderful little boy and I know he grew to be a wonderful man. He and Andy played em soccer with my son,Brian. He and I reconnected on Instagram several years ago. My heart breaks for his family. Please know you have been and are in my prayers. the world has lost a beautiful soul.
