Dear Gina and Joel, we really don't know what to say other than to offer our heartfelt sympathy. I just lost my dad a few days ago which cannot compare to the pain of losing a son. No parent should have to lose their child. I met Nick at one of Brandon's baseball games last season; he was very polite and had a contagious smile! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely, The Rhodes Family -

Dear Gina and Joel,

My prayers are with you at this difficult time. Jenn just saw Nick at the movies a month or so ago. I have pictures of Nick being the life of the party for Jenn's 12th birthday party at the hotel. Remember? I met you both there that day, so long ago. Would you like copies? I can mail them to you. That was such a good group of kids at Borel. They all went their separate ways when they went to High School, but a lot of the kids stayed in touch with each other. They were and are all special kids and Nick was one of the best there was. He will be remembered for a long time. You should be proud of what a great kid he was.

I'll admit that I did not know Nicholas, but I do know two ladies who did -- my daughter Holly (she was good friends with one of his older brothers) and my neighbor, Brittany Thompson. Both were in shock... and so am I. We can't help but wonder how or why God "grabs" one when he does, especially one so young. It's in times like these that we can only say, "God, we know not why, but we still must trust in you nonetheless!" I coached softball at Aragon High a few years ago, and because of this experience I know several girls who are now seniors. I will lift up my prayers to them and all who knew Nick. It must seem surreal to them -- It does to me! In closing, both Holly and Brittany confided to me that Nick was one of the sweetest and nicest guys they ever knew. I am sure that this sentiment is felt by many! Peace and love to all of you who will truly miss this wonderful spirit that seemed touch so many. Again, my prayers go out to all of you.

I've know Nick for a few years but I got to know him better my first year at aragon, we had a class together. I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am and that you are in my entire families prayers. If there is anything you need please write me. Nick had one of the gratest smiles I've ever seen and I will remember him that way always.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Barron,

I am very sorry for the loss of your son Nickolas. I am his friend, Franky's mother.. Nick was his best friend and he helped him get his new job at Safeway. I had the pleasure of having lunch with Nick and my son a few weekends ago and we had a great meal with smiles and laughter. Franky was in a near fatal car accident a few months ago and I understand your feelings. My deepest prayers are with you and your family. Nick's beautiful smile will always be remembered. God bless..

You probably don't remember me. My son Patrick Evans played baseball with one of your older sons.(?) In fact when Patrick was home on leave, just a couple of weeks ago, he said he saw Anthony (?)

I know, a little of what you are going through as I lost my oldest son Michael 2 years ago at the age of 25 to a massive heartattack. We used to attend Central Peninsula Church and held Michael's memorial there as well.

Please, if there is anything you need, do not hesitate to email me. For me, being with other moms who had gone through this unnatural event, is what helped me more than anything. Of course Yeshua arranged all of that. Baruch Ha'Shem!

My heart grieves with you all and my Patrick who is getting ready to be deployed also sends his condolances as well.

May the Lord bless you and keep the Barron family and give you HIS SHALOM.
