Robert William Healy

May 6, 1924-August 29,2016

Robert began life's journey in San Francisco, CA. on May 6, 1924 and passed away on August 29, 2016 in Auburn, CA. Robert graduated from Mission High School in 1942 and joined the Army Air Corp in December 1942, where he served as a technical sergeant. He was awarded the Purple Heart, The Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal before being honorably discharged in 1945.
In 1947 Robert married Jean Hutchinson, his spouse of 67 years. In 1955 Robert moved his family to Mountain View CA. where he lived until his retirement from Foremost Dairy in 1985. Robert and Jean relocated to Grass Valley, CA. to enjoy their retirement. In 2004 they moved to Auburn, CA. where he lived until he passed away.
Robert enjoyed playing golf; watching baseball, especially the Giants; reading historical books and reading 3 newspapers daily. He loved spending time with his family and looked on proudly as his family grew and expanded.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Jean in 2014. He is survived by his children Robert, Susan and Lynn and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Robert will be interred at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. He will be greatly missed by all of his family.
