Ruth Magulac Obituary

Ruth Lyman Magulac

August 12, 1931 - April 1, 2016

Ruth Lorraine Lyman was born August 12, 1931 on a farm in Mitchell, South Dakota, the fourth of nine children. She succumbed to cancer at her home, peacefully, on April 1, 2016.
Ruth attended Boise Junior College, and Oregon State University, graduating from OSU in 1953.
Ruth married Stan Magulac on June 18, 1954 in San Francisco.
Ruth had a deep and abiding faith in Christ and was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, in San Carlos.
Ruth was preceded in death by her son, George, in 1979. She is survived by her devoted husband Stan, her son, Mark (Cheryl), daughter Laura Stager (Mark), four married grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her legacy of selfless sacrifice and steadfast determination will live on through her large extended family and the many friends whose lives she has touched.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to The Nature Conservancy.
