Goodbye Seamus. It was an extreme honor, pleasure and privilege, not to mention a lot of fun, to know you and work with you and your kids, Brian, Tracy and Janet. I will miss you. We never made the Donegal connection...I would have been nicer to you if I had known that. You were and still are one of the nicest people I've had the privilege to meet. Louise.

Our family, the Currans, came out to Canada from Donegal, leaving from Falcarragh, the same year, 1950, that the McGee family emigrated. and during the 1950's we tracked each other across Canada. The McGee family finally emigrated to California, the Currans to Pennsylvania. But I remained in Canada. It's been many years since we had contact, but I remember those early years in Canada vividly, and how hard they were for both our families. I remember Seamus, as a hard working young man, several years my senior. Though we lost contact many years ago, the memories of those early years still stand out. I'm glad to hear that he had a good life, and is well remembered by friends and family.
My best wishes to his family.
God bless.

I was but a brief acquaintance, I am Andy Minjiras' son Ian's mom, Julie Grissom. I remember visiting the McGee household many times and having the pleasure of Seamus' humour and hospitality. Elsie always made me feel at home. I was honored to have been accepted as one of the "kids" in the neighborhood, and I am glad I had the opportunity to know Mr. McGee. My sincere condolences and prayers to the family. Hugs from my Heart.
