Stan was born in Dayton, Ohio, the first American citizen in his Croatian immigrant family. He attended Holy Angels school. He was drafted and served in the army for 18 months in Germany, then used the GI Bill to attend Boise Jr. College (where he met his future wife, Ruth), and University of Oregon.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
