Mr. Pegnim.... It just doesnt seem like 6 years have passed. I want you to know that you are thought of very often and the work you did to help me out has been life changing... I hope your family is well and Im sure they miss you constantly. I have no doubt your wonderful spirit has gone on to the next chapter in your journey, but the trail you left in the lives of others will live on. Looks like our Giants may jot play this year, but hopefully this horrible virus will ebb and next year we can be in the running with our new coach!... Peace be with you Tom, and thanks again for everything!.... JT

I have been a client of the firm for 4 years and have built such a bond with the entire staff. Shannon, I began to think about seeing you and your dad at the Green & White Ball and watching him stand proud to have his baby girl escorting him in the room. Cherish the memories and thank you for sharing your dad with so many. My closest thought was seeing him in action at Court. God bless you and my prayers of peace and comfort for the entire family & staff of Pegnim & Ivancich

I'm Tom Pegnim's cousin.
He was two years older than myself, so I've
effectively known him for sixty years.
I'm aware of his accomplishments, interests,
what he was proud of, the general sum of his
life. But all I want to impart to you is what I
think is the essence of the man.
Whenever I talk to my mother, his Aunt Betty,
aged 88, about Tom, she always says, " He's a
real nice guy." It's a simple thought but it's
everything. Time and again, I think of what to say but I can't get past those words.
It's a fitting epitaph. It's a wonderful epitaph.
It's my cousin Tom

My entire family wishes to extend our deepest condolences at this time. I walk through the office and everything looks the same but feels so different. Not only was he my employer but he was a part of all my milestones since moving to California, and I cannot fathom what it is going to be like not having him here to sound things off of. He spoke of his family often and was so proud of his kids. He was still madly in love with his wife and loved to recount their travels with us. Grace to the entire Pegnim family.

Tom was an honest, honorable, humorous, intelligent, thoughtful, helpful man. Though on opposite sides of the law, he was a great friend and even a mentor. No matter how disputatious a case, he never showed any acrimony to me. I will miss him more than anyone I have ever lost. I will never believe he is gone, and thank God for all the good memories I have of him. I miss you, Tom.

Dear Sue and Family, What a shock! It seems like just yesterday we were at Boy Scouts or LOPC, mostly talking about the kids, of course. Tom seemed larger than life to me, full of life, so it's hard to think he could be gone so suddenly. My prayers for peace and strength to face the coming weeks and months are with you. Dear Pegnim Family,
I'm so very sad to here of your great loss. You don't know me, but I handled Tom's and Lisa's yellow page and online advertising at ATT for.seven.to.eight years. Tom always made me feel as if I were a.friend, and not just a sales rep. I enjoyed our conversations more than anything. I always told friends.that if they need.an attorney in a field he.specialized, he was the go to guy. I never knew.he had affiliations with De La.Salle H.S. Most of my seven brothers-in-law attended there, as well as my wife at Carondlet. One of my brothers-in-law teach at DLS.now.
Tom was a man.of.campassion and always."got me," when we had conversations. I.was always impressed with his words of wisdom and wit, also! I know he.always took you, Sue on awesome trips in Oct., because he would be.gone and that's when I would be.working with him to meet our deadline for the phone book. He also shared your Zappos shoe story, as my wife has a difficult time finding shoes to fit. So, we took his.advice and my wife ordered eleven.pairs.of dress shoes two weeks.prior to her brother's.wedding. And in the box was one pair of "glass slippers!"
The rest were sent back and all was well!
While I have retired from the former ATT Advertising Solutions, I will always remember Tom and the wonderful guy he was. May.God continue to bless you all.
In deepest sympathy,
Ronald Cole

My deepest condolences to Sue, Shannon, Caitlin and all the Pegnims on the loss of Tom. He was a huge part of our community, always willing to help out with a ready smile. I will remember him as a good neighbor, a helpful member of swim team, and a wonderful coach for my daughter Katie's peewee soccer team, eternally patient with the kids, who loved him! He will be sorely missed. . .
