Tonsi Zidich

Tonsi Zidich 100 years old, was born in Croatia on October 2, 1909, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 22, 2010, in Stockton, California. She is now with her beloved husband, John; her son, Matthew; daughter-in-law, Leona; and her sister, Ann Williams. She is survived by her devoted son, Tony (Carole) from Daly City; brother, Tony Prizmich (Rozan) from Roseville; seven grandchildren: Pat Dold (Larry), John Zidich (Pam), Carole Soria (Dick), Joan Groh (John), Debra Gibbons (Harry), Mike Zidich (Theresa), and Sue Costa (Joe); 14 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, and one great-niece. Tonsi was a resident of San Francisco (Potrero District) and a member of St. Teresa's parish and the St. Vincent de Paul Society for many years. She will be deeply missed by her family and numerous friends. A special thank you to the staff at Oak Creek/O'Connor Woods Assisted Living Facility. Friends are invited to attend a Viewing at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 29th at St. Teresa Church, 390 Missouri Street, San Francisco, 94107. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to St. Teresa Church or St. Vincent de Paul Society, 169 Stillman Street, San Francisco, CA 94107.
