Victor Minasian Obituary

Victor Minasian Passed away peacefully at the age of 87, with his loving family by his side, on March 2, 2006. Beloved husband of 62 years to June Minasian; loving father to Larry, Stan and Ken Minasian; caring father-in-law to Claudine Minasian; devoted grandfather to Nicolle and Gregg Minasian; also survived by many other loving friends and family members, and will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Minas and Baizar Minasian; and his two devoted brothers, Al and Bill Minasian. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend Funeral Services celebrating his life, on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 11:00am, at the Tiffany Chapel of Cypress Lawn Funeral Home, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma, CA, Interment, Cypress Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers and in observance of his passion for the welfare of animals, donations in his memory may be made to D.E.L.T.A. Rescue (Dedication & Everlasting Love to Animals), P.O. Box 9, Glendale, CA 91209.

I have been a friend of Claudine's since junior high school, and I want to offer my condolances for the loss of your husband and the children's "Papa."

I would also like to mention how beautiful Nicolle's note is, and how touched her "Papa" would be.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the friends and family who have been so supportive to our family over this past week. Although 87 years is a long life, it cannot take away from the void that my Papa's death has left in my heart. He will be missed so much and there aren't words to describe the feeling of not being able to hug him or see him again. There were so many who loved him and he has left many memories that will stay with us all forever. Again, thank you all for being so supportive through this very difficult time. For those who know her, I ask that you call or write my grandma every once in a while to let her know you are thinking of her...I would really appreciate it. Her email is [email protected]. I am sure she would appreciate your love and thoughfulness. I cannot imagine what she feels inside after losing someone she has been with everyday for over 60 years! Take care, Nicolle

I am an old friend of Claudine's through the SP. We worked together on the phone in the accident bureau and when finished with business would talk about our families and I have met her a few times in SF while attending business. She wrote me about her father-in-law and I want to express my deepest sympathy to her, Larry, their kids and her busband's family in the loss of Larry's father. I know the loss as I have experienced it and hope you have as many great memories as I have to get you through the rough waters ahead.
