A much-loved husband, father, and grandfather, Bill Madsen passed away in Santa Clara, California on August 18, 2025. He was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, but since 1939 lived in Oakland, California. After graduating from Oakland High School, he received a BA from UC Berkeley in 1950. He is survived by daughter, Nancy Madsen Houtz; daughter, Ann Madsen Agee (Brian); and grandchildren, Brett Houtz, Dale Houtz, Matthew Agee, and Laura Agee.
