TORREZ, Louis E.

Louis E .Torrez of La Puente, CA. passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015. He was born in Tombstone, AZ. August 25, 1915 to parents Marcileno and Maria Torrez and 8 siblings preceded him, Joe, Rosendo, Cruz, Connie, Maggie, Reyes, Vickie and Lucy. Sisters and brother in-laws Cleo and Phil Sierras and Fritz and Olga Sanchez reside in Phoenix, AZ and nieces and nephews. Louis was a WWII Veteran and extremely proud to have served his country from 1941 to 1945. After traveling the world Louis settled in La Puente, Ca with his wife Otillia Torrez where they raised their beloved daughter Mary Jane Torrez for over 50 years. Louis and Tillie worked for the La Puente Unified School District for many years which gave them great joy in their lives. Louis and Tillie had a great love for dancing and spent time at their local 1944 VFW Post dances. Louis was preceded by his wife Otillia in 2005 and his daughter, Mary Jane in 2013. Louis lived to see 100 years of life in August where he celebrated with family and friends. He was a man of great conviction in his life. He will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. You're at home with the Lord now Louis dancing among the stars forever. God rest your soul. Love your Family.
