Thomas Watry Obituary
Tom worked for several businesses in the Elkhart Lake area until eventually taking over his family farm. After retiring from dairy farming, he continued to cash crop and worked for Kraus Custom Forage Harvesting.
Tom is further survived by his father, ElDon Watry, Kiel; his siblings, Barbara Watry, Denver Colo.; Kay (Timothy) Martin, Westfield; Peter (Marcella) Watry, North Canton Ohio; Donna (Steven) Belanger, Greendale; and Paul (Shannon) Watry, Wauwatosa; along with numerous other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Imelda Watry; and one sister, Mary Beth Watry.
Tom was known by many of his friends as "Tree" and enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, and walking his fields looking for arrowheads and other artifacts. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake, and a member of the Farm Bureau Federation. Tom also enjoyed keeping up-to-date with the Badgers and Packers with his daughters, Emma and Chelsea.
The family would like to send their thanks to the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and St. Luke's Medical Center for their care and support over the past year.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday March 7, 2012, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Elkhart Lake. The Very Rev. Dennis Van Beek will officiate. Family and friends may call at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel, on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.

I was saddened to learn of Tom's passing. I was a classmate of Tom's and he was one of the nicest guys anybody had the pleasure to know. My deepest sympathy to his family. He will be greatly missed! God Bless You with strength and support at this time of sorrow.

Our prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. Fritz worked with Tom at Kraus Custom Cropping and we shared good times at the Kraus annual Christmas party.
Moments don't last forever but the memory's of the moments do.
