Allen Boyter Jr. Obituary
CHARLOTTE-Allen Boyter, Jr. of Cleveland County, 70, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center-Main.
He was born on Feb. 23, 1946, to the late James and Geneva DuPree Boyter.
A memorial service will be held at 1:15 p.m., on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Focus Missionary Baptist Church, 1612 Kings Road, Shelby.

So sorry hear about Allen's passing. I never met him, but I learned recently that he is related to me through his great grandfather Allen Boyter from Ware Shoals. He was married to my granny, Claudia English, in Gastonia, NC and their son, Carl Boyters, is my father. My granny changed "Boyter" to "Boyters" after he died when my dad was 10-year-old, but we don't know why. Please feel free to reach out to me to learn more. [email protected]
