Sammy Stevenson Obituary
He was born in Allendale, S.C. to the late Walter Boyd Stevenson, Sr. and Hazel Harter Stevenson. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Dennis Stevenson and Walter Boyd Stevenson, Jr. He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Grover, where he was a member of the Senior Men's Sunday School Class. He was a retired salesman and member of the Stateline Masonic Lodge. A loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved to fish and draw.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Mary Jane Hollifield Stevenson, Grover; son Michael Scott Stevenson, Grover; daughter Mary Beth S. Willis and husband, Tony Willis, Sr., Grover; five grandchildren Austin Willis, Savannah Willis, Lee Willis, Justin Willis and Jordan Willis.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, at Harris Funeral Home and other times at the home of the daughter, Beth Willis.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church
