Shirley Morden Obituary

Shirley Morden, 63

Shirley Ann Morden, 63, of Murray, Idaho, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with liver disease. Shirley was born on October 27, 1961 and adopted by William and Frances Schwartz in Yakima, Washington shortly thereafter. Growing up in North Idaho, Shirley inherited a love of the outdoors and all things green. This love transpired into a fulfilling life as a landscaper, groundskeeper and expert gardener.

In April 1997, at the age of 35, Shirley was blessed with the birth of her son, Noah Morden (formerly Anderson). She continued her life of family, motherhood and mother nature. In 2004, Shirley met Frank Morden, Sr. and fell in love. They wed in 2005, where she gained two additional children, Mandy (Morden) Brady and Frank Morden, Jr., to create their own blended family.

After retiring, Shirley moved to Murray, Idaho with her husband, Frank and son, Noah. She spent her time enjoying nature, taking care of the garden, and enmeshing herself into the Murray community. Shirley loved the quiet life Murray gave her.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father, William Schwartz and her mother, Frances Schwartz. She is survived by her husband, Frank Morden, Sr.; son, Noah Morden; step-daughter, Mandy Brady; step-son, Frank Morden, Jr.; and brothers, William (Billie) Schwartz and Mike Schwartz.

Private services are planned.
