Ernest Flake Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Dr. Ernest B. Flake will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Erickson of Shreveport Community Church.
Dr. Flake was born August 14, 1912 in Pioneer, LA and passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Springlake Guest Care. He was a General Practice Physician in Shreveport for over 40 years. His practice first started in 1941 at North Louisiana Sanitarium that later became Doctors Hospital. . He was a loving husband and father and will be missed dearly by his wife Dorothy of 59 years, children and many friends.
His parents: Dr John Jordan Flake and Alma Rentz Flake preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife; Dorothy Lucas Flake, sons; Bernie Flake, and Dr. Larry Flake and wife Teresa, Granddaughters; Lauren, Kristen, and Jordyn
Memorials may be made to Evangel Christian Academy.

Dr. Larry Flake and family. We share in your sorrow and great loss at this time of your father's passing.
