Staphine McGrew Obituary
Family Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 from 6 to 7 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary B.C.
Survivors include: one daughter, La'Ericka Casey; twin sons, Devin and Devon Bates all of Shreveport; parents, Charlie Earl and Ollie Rose McGrew of Silas, Alabama; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Artharee Hicks of Millry, Alabama; sisters, Veronica Miller and Quanalisa (Jimmy) Nelson; brothers, Tarrence (Barbara) McGrew; and Lester (Cora) Nelson all of Silas, Alabama; future son-in-law, Deondrae Session of Shreveport, La.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

You would have had to meet this lady to know that she was indeed a true angel.My prayers are with the family during their time of sorrow.But do know that she was only loaned us for a season and that God comes to pick what is rightfully his and i know that it may not seem like it right now but joy will come in the morning she will be greatly missed.Love Always

My cousin, I love you and will miss you dearly. I am so sad that you are gone, but I am so happy that you will no longer suffer. Your last words to me were "I love you too." Who could ask for more? Rest In Peace Tunchie. I will see you in the morning.

Though I have only had to occasion to meet Ms. McGrew a few of times through my friend, it was evident that she was a lady of humor, practicality, and great spirit. My family and I pray that God continues to comfort you!
