Sally,
Steve, Mary Virginia and I graduated from MHS together. This is our year for our 50th class reunion and I was looking forward to seeing and talking with Steve. I have not seen him since our graduation, therefore we had lots to catch up on!

Mary Virginia and I were very good friends in HS, therefore, I spent a lot of time at their home. One always felt welcome by their family.

My heart felt sympathy goes out to you and your family. I am praying for you and your family. May God's peace be with you at this time.

Sally/Mary Virginia-
I graduated in 1959 and just wanted to say how much I thought of Steve and Mary. We had geat times together in school. When I left Minden for college I never saw Steve again. I just remember he smiled whenever you saw him and he enjoyed life. He was as strong as a bull and I always wanted to be on his side. I'm sorry we never made contact after high school and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are with you.

Sally, It never occurred to me that this could happen-was really surprised to hear the news. We spent many days and miles together back when we were between rational thinking and just goofing off -1960-61.Steve and Mary Virginia's home was the hangout place in high school - I think because his mother always had a baked ham and we could never eat enough. So sorry. cy(Percy)Holomon

STEVE AND I COACHED TOGETHER AT WiNNFIeld. We had a lot of good moments together coaching and visiting as friends. He was the strongest person that I have ever been around. I could bench 325 and Steve waited until I maxed out then he benched 325 ten times. I don't think I ever lifted again. I enjoyed our friendship a lot. My heart and prayers are with the family. Sally and Children:
I am so sorry to hear about "Big" Steve. I know how hard this journey will be for all of you. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers. Sally, I am so grateful that you and Steve came to Lull's visitation. It meant so much to Luke and David to finally meet the man "Big Steve" who was involved in their dad's stories and tales. Steve really touched Lull's life in so many ways and Lull frequently spoke of him and all the "trouble" they used to get into.
Please know that we are sorry for your loss. May God provide peace beyond our understanding to you.
