Joan M. Fields, 89
It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing our deeply loved mother on April 6, 2020. Joan M. Fields (nee Cook), 89 Joan Fields was a beautiful women inside and out. Born on February 5, 1931, in Queens NY., she moved to Staten Island NY., in the early 60's. Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and cousin. Married to James. J. Fields for over forty years and now reunited with him in heaven along with her cherished daughter; Kelly-Ann Fields-Geraci. whom passed in 1990. Survived by her loving children; daughter, Maura E. Fields-Ryan, sons: James, P. Fields and Matthew D. Fields, son-in law; Keith Ryan and two daughter in laws; Dana and Carla Fields. Devoted grandmother to: Colinn Geraci-Storey, Timothy Fields, Riley Fields, Gabriella Ryan, Kelly Ann Fields, SeanPatrick Ryan, James Fields, Christine, Charles, Christopher and Stanley Geraci. Joan's greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren and treasured her time with her dear sisters, brother, nieces and nephews. While raising her four children, she worked as a sales representative for Macy's, for over thirty years. Joan was avid bowler, bingo player and parishioner of St. Clare's Church. Joan had a heart of gold and will forever missed. Due to the current circumstances, a private cremation will take place April 18, 2020 with a memorial service celebrating her life to be held at a later date this year.

I am so saddened to hear of Joan's passing. I worked beside Joan for may years and have very fond memories of her. A kind and caring sole. May God bless your family.
