Edward Stanley Obituary

Edward Stanley
June 9, 1938 - December 31, 2023
Santa Clarita - On December 31, 2023, Edward Stanley passed away at the age of 85. Edward is survived by his wife Elaine Stanley and their four children Tim, Paul, Tamra and Cham, alongside their four grandchildren Christina, Grace Rose, Corey and Jade. Ed and Elaine were married for over 58 years and travelled the world together. Ed was known for his quick wit and keen sense of humor, bringing warmth and laughter to every family gathering. Ed served in the military over three wars, and worked in propaganda at Fort MacArthur. In peacetime, Ed worked at Standard Oil, then for Northrop Grumman (TRW) in accounting while finishing his business and accounting degree from Pepperdine University. Following his honourable discharge from the military, Ed moved his family to Santa Clarita in 1978 to work for Los Angeles Baptist College (Masters University) as their business manager. There, he was involved in the community, regularly offering his time and business acumen to the local Rotary Club, Church and the Girl Scouts. Ed also dabbled in Real Estate before retiring. Ed loved spending time with family and friends, swimming, adding candles to warm up every room, and a good fire in the fireplace.
