Marianne McEachern Obituary

Marianne McEachern, of Langley, BC, passed away on October 28, 2014 at the age of 75. She was a beloved teacher in Cloverdale and Langley. Her years of retirement were rich with volunteer work for the Langley RCMP, adventurous travel with her dear friends Karen Nelson, Jocye McEachern, and Sheila McEachern, and boating on the Alberni Canal with her loving companion, Elmer Salo. Marianne will be dearly missed by her brother John Gentry, son, Craig McEachern (Shari), daughter, Carla McEachern and her husband Rick Renard, grandchildren Chelsea Merryfield (Stephen), Carter and Sophie Renard, her extended family and cherished friends. A service honouring Marianne will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 2:00 pm at the White Rock Community Centre: 15154 Russel Avenue, White Rock, BC.

I was saddened to hear of Marianne's passing.We were each members of the Langley High School Graduating Class of May 1957.I remember Marianne for her poise, intelligence and friendliness from my High School days. Such fond memories of our growing up years. She will not be forgotten.
