Sherrie Cuzzort Obituary

Sherrie K. Cuzzort 63 a long time resident of Newhall, California, died at her home on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 after a long illness.

Sherrie was born in Bay City, Michigan on August 23, 1947. She moved to the Los Angeles area and began working in the film industry for their animation departments. She worked for many years as a color artist; first for Hanna Barbera Studios, then later for Disney Studios. Sherrie loved her work but had to retire from Disney several years ago due to her failing health.

Sherrie is survived by one son Terry Cuzzort; her daughter, Dyan Cuzzort; her granddaughter, Danae Cuzzort and her great-grandson, Daniel.

A memorial service will be held on June 23, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Clarita Baptist Church, 27249 Luther Drive, Canyon Country, California. In Lieu of flowers all donations may be sent to The Santa Clarita Baptist Church,
