Jeffrey Green Obituary
Peoria, IL—Jeffrey John "Jeff" Green, age 61, of Peoria, passed away June 16, 2018 at Lakeside Health in Bowmanville, Canada.
Born June 10, 1957 in Monmouth, IL., he was a son to Ramon J. and Beverly J. (Westermeyer) Green. On September 3, 1988, he married the love of his life, Pamela Rosnett in Danville, IL.
Jeff attended Immaculate Conception Grade School in Monmouth, graduated from Monmouth High School, and went on to obtain his Bachelor Degree in Business from Northwood University in Michigan. He was also a graduate of NADA Dealer Academy in Washington, DC.
He was the owner of Green Chevrolet Danville, IL., 1981-1998. Jeff was President and Owner of Green Chevrolet and Green Ford in Peoria, 1998-present. Jeff was a member of United Way, Angels Investment Group, a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International, and served on the committee for St. Jude Midwest Affiliate Gala. He was also a member of the Chevrolet Dealer Council, Illinois Auto Dealers Association, and the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet.
Jeff was instrumental in the early success of the Bleeding and Clotting Disorders Institute, a not for profit hemophilia treatment center. He and his wife Pam have been generous benefactors of the center and its programs to help the bleeding disorders community since its establishment and was recently
honored for starting the Peoria Office.
Jeff was an accomplished race car driver winning multiple championships and awards. He began instructions to obtain a pilot license when he was 15, and later added a helicopter pilot certificate. Jeff was active with CrossFit of North Peoria and was a founding member of Tee it Up for the Troops.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela of Peoria; two beloved children; Madison Green and Drake Green of Peoria; father, Ramon J. Green of Peoria, two sisters: Gail Green of Peoria and Jill A. Green of Bettendorf, IA; one brother Todd C. (Christine) Green of Springfield; sister-in-law Patty (Stan) Evans of Danville; mother-in-law Verna Jean Rosnett of Danville; 10 nieces and nephews; 10 great-nieces and nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Green and father-in-law, John Rosnett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 between the hours of 3:00 PM till 7:00 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Peoria Heights. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with an additional visitation being held one hour prior to mass. Msgr. Jason Gray, Msgr. Paul Showalter, and Father Donald Henderson will officiate and burial will follow in Historic Springdale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jeff's memory may be made to the Bleeding and Clotting Disorders Institute, BCDI, 9128 N Lindbergh Dr. Peoria, IL 61615

To the entire Green Family I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of working with Jeff back in the late 80's shooting television spots with him at the Green Chevrolet store in Danville. Jeff was an exceptionally great guy and always treated me and the rest of the crew with kindness and respect.
