Very saddened to belatedly find out about Mark's passing. Mark's life and his entire family, Rose and the girls, had the most profound positive affect on my life, during the first ten years of my career. I owe an incredible debt of gratitude to your family and to Mark for helping me find a small place to stand in this world. We lost him less than two weeks before my own son was born. I always thought I would have time to reconnect with him. Thank you all for the love and care you showed me all those years ago. Sincere Condolences and prayers for you all.

Rose and family: Although we did not get to truly 'know' Mark, we felt as though we did through Dan's brother, Bill and his extreme fondness for him. We express our belated and sincere sympathies. Our hearts are heavy for all of you from losing one you all loved dearly, who left you prematurely.
Fondly,

Though Mark was older than I he was the big brother. We had a running joke between us. He was Wally and I was the Beav.

And that was true, Mark was a big brother....always patient, always, ready to listen, always ready to lend a hand.

Miss you big brother.

Rose, I am so sorry for your loss. I am thankful the March of Dimes provided me an opportunity to get to know you and Mark. My favorite memory of Mark is the day I met you both. We bonded over Villa Park and Willowbrook HS stories. Another favorite - riding back from the Prematurity Research Center launch on I-55 in the convertible...despite Jennifer and I protesting (we didn't have hair ties) he convinced us! It was a beautiful day and we truly enjoyed the ride! Much love, hugs, and prayers to you and your family.
