Tommy Lester
LUGOFF, S.C. – Mr. Tommy Neal Lester, 72, of Lugoff, S.C, passed away Thurs., July 10, 2014.
Born May 14, 1942, in Justice, he was a son of the late Jesse Wayne and Myrtle Brown Lester. Also preceding him in death was a brother, William Wayne Lester.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Karen L. Lester; daughters, Barbara (Russell) Johnson and Jennifer (Terry) Ellis; sons, Mark (Sharen) Lester and Jesse Lester; brother, Jerry F. (Laura) Lester; sister, Patricia Lester (George); six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A service to celebrate his life was held at 5 p.m. Sat., July 12, at Powers Funeral Home.
The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Council on Aging.
