Henry J. Sheridan

Henry J. "Hank" Sheridan of Weymouth, died November 4, 2018. Hank was born in Boston, to the late Glenys Nickels and Harry Sheridan. He grew up in Mattapan and attended North Quincy High School. Hank was a Vietnam era Navy veteran. He retired from the Boston Fire Department, Local 718, after 43 years of service. Hank had been a member of the Weymouth Elks and the Halligan Club. He enjoyed reading, sports, history, and spending time with his family. He was the loving husband and "Doro" of 44 years to Eleanor Mary (Doherty) Sheridan of Weymouth; loving dad to Laurie Mayo and her husband Rich of Weymouth and Paul Sheridan of Hingham; cherished brother of Kathy Theriault and her husband Jerry of Marshfield; dear brother-in-law of Becky, Eddie, Tommy, Muriel and Pat Doherty all of Charlestown; proud Papa of Lily and Sean Mayo. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square), North Weymouth.
