To the Whitfield family,
My deepest sympathies to you all. I just learned of your father's death today and wanted to reach out and let you know that you're in my heart and prayers. Barbara and Peter were both a part of my life and childhood. As was Wayne and Craig. I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. The memory of your loved ones will always be with me and with everyone whose lives they touched.

Peter Whitfield was a wonderful, kind, and generous man. He was a great influence in my life, and he was one of the best television teammates one could ever have. The town of Scituate has been blessed to have a time capsule of historical video work that Pete Whitfield created from his abounding 47 year love of the Town. We produced visual goodness together for a lot of years... how lucky we were. Pete Whitfield was my good friend, a True Townie, and I'll miss him. Fade to black.

I am sorry to hear of your Dad and the other losses in your life since we graduated Scott. While I have lost a cousin who grew up two houses away, I still have my three brothers. Both you and I are the third children.
