Why do good people die too soon? Reggie was an embodiment of genuine love, passion for life and selflessness to others. I'm a better human being today because our paths crossed. I dare to say, so many others can bear witness to this . At times like this, we ask these empty questions, with no answers. Our consolation is the quality of life you lived. Yours, many will attest, overran many lives in longevity by your compassion, empathy, thoughtfulness, generosity, and dedication to the human race. May our weary souls be soothed by the examples you left behind of how to live. Yours, though short in nomenclature, was permeated with love. I pray that The Almighty grant you eternal rest. Amen.

Reggie will surely be missed. He was one person who always been one way, just a good person. I spoke to him that week and we were making plans for dinner and catching up. My prayers are going out to his lovely wife and his beloved sons and daughter and all his entire family including his friends and business associates and employees.

Words fail at a time like this. How do I communicate the gravity of the loss here? It feels like an impossible task. Reggie was simply put, one of the most solid and genuine human beings I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He radiated intelligence and positivity everywhere he went. And those two things in particular I will miss most in his absence. Rest well my Brother.

Reg, you joined the fraternity almost ten years after I did. Funny, you was more like a big brother to me than the other way around. You is my guardian angel now. Thank you for the many memories, Reg. You are a wonderful father, husband, businessman, friend, and brother. No one ever had a bad word to say about you. I was truly blessed to have known you. Rest in peace, brother. "The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from calamity; he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness." Isaiah 57:1-2.

I am sending condolences to Reggie's family. I was his 10th grade history teacher at Spartanburg High School and a popular place to go when I became a counselor. That big smile and genuine concern for others appear in my mind as I think about Reggie.
I am so glad that I got a chance to talk to Reggie at his class reunion 2016. May God keep you in His care. I loved Reggie too.

I am speechless and saddened to learn of Reggie's passing. I am terribly sorry for what I know is a deep loss to his family. Our oldest son was good friends with Maxim in elementary school and I will always remember how Maxim lit up and ran to hug Reggie when he spotted him at after-school pickup. May memories like these carry you through the tough times ahead.

We were just all on vacation in Outerbanks this summer. Reggie was a good man who filled the room with his presence. Wonderful husband, father and son. He was also a big part of my husband getting his current position - he just stepped in and helped out. Absolutely grieving. I am so sorry for your loss.
