Ruby B. Wingo

Pauline - Ruby Bagwell Wingo, 94, wife of the late Boyd W. Wingo, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, July 4, 2021.

Born May 25, 1927 in Pauline, SC, Mrs. Wingo was a daughter of the late Jesse Alanzo and Ollie Jones Bagwell. She graduated from Pauline High School and was a member of the Rebecca class of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Wingo was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and served on various church committees. She was also Vice President of Wingo Metal Products, Inc.

Mrs. Wingo is survived by her sons, Dennis Wingo (Anne) of Pauline, SC and Randy Wingo (Susan) of Easley, SC; her daughter, Vickie Wingo of Pauline, SC; grandchildren, Courtney Phillips (Robbie) of Clemson, SC, Dr. Madison Lanford (Adam) of Pelzer, SC, and Benjamin Wingo (Megan) of Simpsonville, SC; great granddaughters, Ruthie Grace Phillips, Amelia "Millie" Leigh Phillips, Amelia Nancy Wingo, and Chandler Leigh Wingo; a special great niece, Malissa Guy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, James and Bernard Bagwell; and sisters, Irene Bagwell, Janie Maude Quinn, and Corrine Smith.

Mrs. Wingo was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a friend to many and was always ready to listen and help friends and family in their time of need.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 9th, 11:00-11:45AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Funeral services will follow in the sanctuary at 12:00 noon, officiated by Reverend Joe Burnett and Reverend Jim Oliver.

Burial will be held in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, Building Fund, P O Box 229, Roebuck, SC 29376.
